Scholarships from the Paul Sacher Foundation

New scholarship format from the Paul Sacher Foundation on proposed topics

Since its inception in 1986, the Paul Sacher Foundation has been awarding scholarships to support research stays in Basel. In addition to the previous scholarships on submitted topics, the Paul Sacher Foundation now also awards scholarships for research on specified topics.

These topics are developed by the Paul Sacher Foundation team from the collection holdings and are dedicated to various sub-areas which, in the view of those responsible for the collection, merit in-depth research. This will make it possible to carry out the first fundamental evaluations of collections that have not yet been catalogued or have only been catalogued to a limited extent.

The formulated topics provide an initial framework that can be specified in discussions with interested parties.
