Art Song Challenge ASC

International song festivals join forces to promote young artists, rediscover the song and question some rules in the process. The Eurovision Song Contest will determine the cultural events in Basel and Switzerland in May 2025. As we also love songs so much and have been infected by the competition fever, we are presenting the 2025 first Art Song Challenge (ASC). We collect video submissions of songs from all over the world, interpreted by professional musicians. From these submissions, we award concert engagements at our festivals, not only to make the audition system more equal in terms of opportunities, but also to discover the song and make it more diverse.
