Lectureship in French diction for voice students (5-20%)

From the fall semester 2025, the Department of Music will be

Lectureship in French diction for voice students (5-20%)

can be combined with

Lectureship in Speech Technique for Voice Students and Lectureship in Italian Diction for Voice Students

in the Interpretation and Performance profile.

 

We are looking for a versatile, artistically and pedagogically competent personality with broad experience in providing a solid education in the French diction module for vocal students. In the singing major and music theater minor, you will teach basic skills in the healthy, vocal handling of outstanding French diction in both individual and group lessons.

 

We expect excellent pedagogical skills as well as teaching experience in the university sector or the willingness to develop further in these areas. As part of your regular presence in the Toni-Areal, you will be responsible for the continuous training of French diction for vocal students. You are also prepared to take on tasks in the Department of Music outside of teaching and actively participate in the artistic life of the university.

 

The French diction course for voice students www.zhdk.ch can be combined with the speaking technique course for voice students and/or the Italian diction course for voice students. The application and selection procedures are conducted independently of each other.

The trial lesson and the expert discussion are expected to take place on June 2 and 4, 2025 in Zurich. The trial lesson will be open to the university public.
