Spring Awakening" chamber music festival

On the weekends of March 18 and 19 and March 25 and 26, 2023, the chamber music festival "Spring Awakening" will be held for the first time in the newly renovated Singisen Hall of the former Muri/AG monastery.

The festival takes place as part of the Series "Music in the ballroom" takes place. In addition to Sebastian Bohren, who also performs as a violinist, international artists can be heard: the Japanese pianist Mao Fujita, the bassist Dominik Wagner from Austria, the Russian cellist Anastasia Kobekina, the pianist Lucas Debargue, the violist Blythe Teh Engstroem and the pianist Konstantin Lifschitz. A new hall

The concerts of the "Spring Awakening" chamber music festival take place in the Singisen Hall of Muri Abbey. This room was previously used as a reading room. With the newly renovated hall, Muri now has a venue that is suitable for chamber music in terms of acoustics and size, in addition to the large banqueting hall.
