The combination of violin and viola creates an "orchestral" sound, which makes it even more fun for the performers. The movement is "democratic": the viola also occasionally has the main part. I played through the whole booklet at once with an advanced violin pupil: she left the lesson beaming and asking to be allowed to play these pieces again!
