The musician and director Ruedi Häusermann has been creating his own music-theatrical language for 25 years, writes the Federal Office of Culture. Together with Jan Ratschko and Herwig Ursin, he created the entertainment evening "Kapelle eidg. Moos", a musical-theatrical invention that was performed for several years on almost all the smaller stages in German-speaking Switzerland as well as at the Schauspielhaus Zurich. Ruedi Häusermann and "Kapelle eidg. Moos" were honored for their inventive spirit, which gave the Ländler a new stage.

The other four theater prizes go to the wildwuchs festival, production manager Gabi Bernetta, director and theater manager Anne Bisang and actor and director Oscar Gómez Mata. The award ceremony in the presence of the President of the Swiss Confederation, Alain Berset, will take place on May 24 at the Schauspielhaus Zurich.
