The performance agreement with the MCS is again valid for five years - from 2018 to 2022. The canton's annual payments will remain unchanged at CHF 60,000 in 2018 and will amount to CHF 80,000 per year from 2019, as the MCS is now committed to providing additional music education services, particularly for children, young people and families (family and school class concerts) and to stepping up its efforts to attract new audience segments. The performance agreement with SHpektakel am Kraftwerk is again valid for four years - from 2018 to 2021. The financial contributions from the canton and city of Schaffhausen remain unchanged.

The cantonal government has also renewed the performance agreement with the Stars in Town festival. As before, the canton's contributions will be used to promote up-and-coming bands from the Schaffhausen region (Startrampe) and the Family Festival. The canton's financial contributions remain unchanged at CHF 50,000 per year. In addition, as before, a deficit guarantee for the risk of bad weather of a maximum of CHF 50,000 is planned. The service agreement with Stars in Town is again valid for three years from 2018 to 2020.

Finally, the cantonal government and the Neuhausen am Rheinfall municipal council concluded a supplement to the service agreement with the Cinévox Junior Company. The service agreement with the Cinévox Junior Company, which offers professional ballet dancers from all over the world one to two years of additional training, expired at the end of 2017. The Cinévox Junior Company is in the process of evaluating its future development. Accordingly, the service agreement will be extended for the time being until the end of the current training year for professional dancers at the end of July 2018. The canton's contribution now amounts to CHF 75,000.
