Where can I find my subscription number?
The subscription number can be found on the back of your printed newspaper, top right, by the address block. Please enter your surname exactly as it is listed there.
Login only with the new subscription numbers from March 13, 2025
In fall 2024, the database with the addresses of SMZ subscribers was updated. The subscription service had to assign new subscription numbers. Until now, it was still possible to log in with the old subscription number.
In the meantime, however, the web team has updated the interface between the address database and the website. From now on, login is only possible with the new subscription number. Unlike before, this is now linked to an address and no longer to a name. This is to avoid multiple deliveries. There is now only one login per address: subscription number and surname of the person addressed. The subscription number can be found on the back of the newspaper at the top left of the address.
