11th Mizmorim Chamber Music Festival | Mizmorim Cinema - Vanishing Point Film

The film program opens up a view of a little-known side of exile: composers expelled from Europe such as Kurt Weill, Erich Wolfgang Korngold and Ernst Toch played a decisive role in shaping the sound of early Hollywood cinema.
Musicologist Heidy Zimmermann and historian Erik Petry comment on selected film examples such as "Robin Hood" (1938), "Plan for Destruction" (1943) and "Escape from the Taiga" (1967).
