Digital archive of Liszt's writings
A team of German, French and Hungarian scholars wants to produce an annotated and freely accessible digital edition of all of Franz Liszt's writings.
The project "Digital edition and thematic indexing of Franz Liszt's writings (Liszt Schriften Digital)" is headed by Rainer Kleinertz (Saarbrücken) together with Claudia Bamberg (Trier) and Dorothea Redepenning (Heidelberg). Rainer Kleinertz is regarded as one of the most internationally renowned Liszt researchers and has held a chair in musicology at Saarland University since 2006.
The Trier Center for Digital Humanities is responsible for the digital implementation; it has been researching and working in the field of digital editions for more than 20 years.
The project is initially scheduled to run for three years and is being funded by the German Research Foundation with more than half a million euros.
