Kai Wessel becomes vocal coach at the HKB
The German countertenor Kai Wessel is to become a vocal lecturer at the Bern University of the Arts (HKB). Born in Hamburg, he studied music theory, composition and singing at the Lübeck University of Music. At the same time, he studied baroque performance practice at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis with René Jacobs, whose assistant he was for arrangements of several operas.
