Davos Festival under new management

Musicologist Elena D'Orta will take over the management of the Davos Festival in November. She succeeds Anne-Kathrin Topp, who will be working for the Bach Foundation in St. Gallen.

From 2017 to 2019, 30-year-old Elena D'Orta was Assistant to the Artistic Director and responsible for third-party funding acquisition at the Basel Symphony Orchestra. In addition to artistic planning, she also took over the Music Education and Inclusion department in 2019, which she managed until 2022.

In the spring of this year, she took on a project management role at the Hamburg cultural and educational initiative Tonali. Until October, she is responsible for two nationwide cooperation projects with the Reeperbahn Festival - the largest club festival in Europe with almost 1,000 concerts, exhibitions, sessions and more.
