Compositions for music education wanted
The association Musikvermittlung Schweiz + is looking for concepts or compositions for 5-minute pieces for special instruments (e.g. plastic bags, ping-pong balls, kazoos, paper, dishes).
According to the association, the works should ideally be suitable for smaller and larger (amateur) groups such as choirs, orchestras, bands, school classes and clubs. The works should be notated in such a way that they can also be performed by non-musicians. This could be a drawing, a plan, verbal instructions or graphic notation.
The deadline for submitting the works is October 15, 2016, and they will be performed on November 26, 2016 at the music education festival "Musik in Bewegung" in Bern.
The association Musikvermittlung Schweiz + aims to promote and strengthen networking in the Swiss music education scene. Among other things, it aims to strengthen music education as part of music promotion and the music business and to develop and establish a vocabulary and ideas for music education. The board consists of Irena Müller-Brozovic (president), Barbara Balba Weber, Diana Lehnert, Yvonne Meyer, Madlaina Janett and Elisabeth Stoudmann.
