Eight awards in three categories
The competition for young people between the ages of 9 and 19 was launched in 2003 by the Camerata Zürich and takes place every two years.
Ten works were submitted this year, eight of which were awarded prizes. The jury consisted of Roland Moser, Alfred Zimmerlin and Droujelub Yanakiew. On March 29, the Camerata Zurich, conducted by Droujelub Yanakiew, performed the best compositions in the Great Hall of the Zurich Conservatory of Music.
The following prizes were awarded:
Category I: born between 2005 and 2003
2nd prize: Rubén Ramos, Dream of sounds
2nd prize: Gila Kilcher, Snake and giant
