The American auction house RR Auctions is putting a manuscript leaf by Beethoven with notes on the Missa Solemnis on the market. It comes from the estate of Beethoven's contemporary Anton Schindler

The leaf, which Beethoven apparently kept loose, contains sketches for the "Missa Solemnis" mass with additions. It was only discovered in 1996 in the estate of the Beethoven biographer Anton Schindler.

In the year it was found, it was auctioned in London for 110,000 dollars. Proceeds of 200,000 dollars are expected from the resale. It is being offered by a European collector. The auction is scheduled for January 15.
