Swiss performances at c/o pop Cologne 2013
The promotion agency Swiss Music Export is presenting the pop band The bianca Story at c/o pop Cologne 2013, the successor to Berlin's Popkomm. The pop singer Dagobert will also be making an appearance.
Between June 19 and 23, the trade fair will present around 150 international acts on 35 stages. The offer is complemented by the conference C'n'B, the Creativity and Business Convention. The Swiss appearance will take place under the label Swiss Business Mixer on Thursday, June 20, at 11 a.m. in a venue called "Wohngemeinschaft".
Industry representatives will have the opportunity to meet Swiss artists and experts before The bianca Story presents itself (Dagobert's performance is part of the official festival program).
The bianca Story combines music, performance and multimedia art. Musically, it is "somewhere between Arcade Fire, Talking Heads and Human League". In 2012, the group released the post-Empire pop album "Coming Home", produced in London's Abbey Road Studios. At the beginning of March this year, the group created the musical theater "M & The Acid Monks" for the Deutsche Oper Berlin.
