The Künstlerhaus Boswil is an important center for classical music and a place for artistic exploration and further education. The musical spectrum covers a wide range - from concerts with world-famous performers to an extensive training program for children, young people and adults. For our own projects and guest events, we offer accommodation and catering in the listed buildings around the Old Church.
As part of a succession plan, we are looking for a
Head of Finance and Deputy to the Management - 80 %
As a committed and strategically-minded individual, you will be responsible for the financial management of the entire operation and make a significant contribution to the financial stability and further development of the Künstlerhaus. You will be responsible for all accounting, budgeting, liquidity planning and controlling and ensure forward-looking management of financial and human resources.
In close cooperation with the Managing Director, you will also be jointly responsible for the Künstlerhaus' financing strategy, manage financial reporting and use your expertise to help ensure that sound business decisions are made. You will be a member of the Executive Board and represent the Managing Director in financial and administrative matters.
Your tasks:
- Overall responsibility for financial management, including bookkeeping, annual financial statements and financial controlling
- Preparation and monitoring of budgets, liquidity plans and financial strategies
- Further development of financial management instruments for sustainable operational management
- Project management and controlling, especially for subsidies and third-party funds
- Support with fundraising (fundraising, funding applications, sponsoring)
- Personnel administration and contracts
- Optimization of administrative processes and digital transformation
- Representation of the managing director
Your profile:
- Completed business administration training with a focus on finance, accounting or controlling
- Ideally additional training in cultural management
- Experience in financial management, ideally in the non-profit or cultural sector
- Sound knowledge of bookkeeping, accounting and financial planning
- Experience in project controlling and budget management, especially in dealing with subsidies
- Confident in using accounting software and digital financial solutions
- Affinity for classical music and culture an advantage
