Seminar "Successful collaboration with patrons"

Which projects do patrons support and how is the actual collaboration structured?

Course participants will explore the topic of patronage and its growing importance for the financing and promotion of cultural and social activities in Switzerland and abroad: Who are the players in this market? Who are the major patrons and how do they think? The seminar provides concrete answers on the psychology of patrons, tips on how to identify and contact philanthropists and how to cultivate them. The main focus is on the framework conditions and processes. The necessary planning methods and tools for implementation are systematically analyzed and supplemented with many examples from national and international practice.

Elisa Bortoluzzi Dubach will conclude the seminar with Gitti HugGitti Hug, lawyer, President of Kunstfreunde Zürich and philanthropist, will lead a thirty-minute discussion followed by a Q&A session. Gitti Hug is a lawyer, president of Kunstfreunde Zürich, a board member of the Zürcher Kunstgesellschaft and a recognized expert in the international art market. She advises, supervises and supports non-profit organizations in a variety of ways.
