Borter becomes President of the KTB Foundation Board
The municipal council of the city of Bern has elected Marcel Brülhart as interim president and Nadine Borter as designated president of the foundation board of Konzert Theater Bern (KTB).
The plan is for Nadine Borter to familiarize herself with her management role as a member of the Board of Trustees and take over the KTB presidency in 2018. Until then, the Board of Trustees will be chaired by Marcel Brülhart. With this arrangement, the municipal council (the Bernese executive) wants to "ensure an orderly transition and guarantee continuity on the KTB Foundation Board".
Nadine Borter is a federally certified Head of Marketing and Communications and is the managing director and owner of the Bern-based communications agency Contexta AG. In this role, she was named Advertiser of the Year in 2011. Nadine Borter has been a board member of Leading Swiss Agencies since 2003 and chaired the industry association from 2012 to 2014.
She has been a member of the Board of Trustees of the Foundation for Marketing in Corporate Management (GfM) since 2006 and a member of the Board of Directors of the Valais wine cooperative Provins since last year. She is a lecturer at various universities, including the University of Bern, HSG St. Gallen and the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (HWZ). The 42-year-old is the mother of two daughters.
