Mediation platform for musicians

The canton, city of Lucerne and the Regional Culture Conference RKK are creating the platform "against the backdrop of the difficult market environment in the music industry and the declining relevance of recorded music". The aim of the new platform is to strengthen Lucerne's music scene in the long term and raise its profile at cantonal, national and international level. In particular, artists with promising potential for success should "have a contact point in the canton of Lucerne that provides them with a network and promotes know-how".

The Canton of Lucerne, the City of Lucerne, the RKK and the Albert Koechlin Foundation are supporting the establishment of such an agency during a three-year pilot phase with a joint contribution of CHF 60,000 per year. The contributions will be awarded through a tendering process. The selected project will be awarded the contract for the conclusion of a service agreement with the canton, city and RKK based on the mandate of this tender.
