Secondary publication rights for authors of articles in "Schweizer Musikzeitung"
Open Access promotes the visibility of publications. This is in the interests of both authors and publishers and is in line with the requirements of Swiss universities and the national Open Access strategy of swissuniversities.
Authors of articles published in "Schweizer Musikzeitung" have the right to make the final version of their publication available as a PDF after official publication in "Schweizer Musikzeitung", after an embargo period of one year, as follows:
- The publications may be made available online in compliance with the publisher's terms and conditions, which grant rights of use in accordance with the Swiss Copyright Act (URG).
- The fully revised, typeset and formatted version in the published form may be used.
- The original publication must be referred to in a clearly visible place, including the full bibliographic details (title of the article, name of the journal, year of publication).
Upon prior notification, the publisher will provide the authors with a copy/version of their article for secondary publication. In the case of articles by authors who are affiliated with a Swiss university at the time of publication, the publisher Galledia Fachmedien AG guarantees the university concerned the non-exclusive right to deposit a copy of the article in its Open Access repository in accordance with the terms of this policy. This policy applies to all articles published on or after January 1, 1998.
