Working conditions in music education
In cooperation with the Vienna-based research and consulting institute Educult (Vienna), the junge ohren network is conducting a current survey on the working conditions of music educators in German-speaking countries.
The data should help to communicate the situation, interests and needs of professional players in music education to politicians, administrators and sponsors. The active search for and development of new strategies is intended to stimulate the discourse on professionalism and forms of work in music education.
Music educators are invited to take part in the survey until April 8, 2018. The questionnaire is accessible online, all data is collected anonymously and does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about the person. It takes between 12 and 15 minutes to complete. The results of the survey will be presented at the German Orchestra Conference 2018 on April 24, 2018 in Halle/Saale.
