Zurich University of the Arts in the Toni-Areal
Zurich University of the Arts is now moving and can now be officially contacted by post at its new address in the Toni-Areal. The Toni-Areal university campus will commence operations in the fall semester of 2014.
The Zurich University of the Arts ZHdK and two departments of the Zurich University of Applied Sciences ZHAW (Social Work, Applied Psychology) are moving to the Toni-Areal in Zurich-West over the course of the summer. In addition to the two universities, the new Toni-Areal also houses the collection of the Museum of Design and the Mehrspur music club. While the ZHdK moves into the largest part of the low-rise building, the ZHAW premises are located in the 75-meter-high tower.
Open days will be held for the public on September 27 and 28. The Zurich University of the Arts will also be inaugurating its new home on October 25 and invites all those interested in art and culture to the Creative City - the ZHdK Festival in.
