Too many music schools in Aargau
According to a report by SRF Regionaljournal Aargau Solothurn, music schools in the canton of Aargau are to be merged. There is an oversupply.
According to Regionaljournal, five music schools in the Zofingen area are merging. In addition, eight municipalities in the Aargau Seetal are to merge their music schools in the summer.
The canton of Aargau currently has 71 music schools. By comparison, there are 36 music schools in the canton of Zurich, 38 in Lucerne and 31 in St. Gallen, according to the regional journal. There is also an oversupply in the canton of Solothurn. However, the canton's 46 schools are to remain as they are.
